This option provides flexibility with a variable interest rate and a lower minimum deposit requirement. There is a maintenance fee if the account falls beneath a determined dollar amount.

  • Provides interest income on excess funds
  • Includes a complete record of transactions with your monthly statement
  • Maintenance fee each month, if the daily ledger balance is less than $250
  • Minimum $25 deposit to open

This option provides fixed interest rates for specified terms. Withdrawing funds before the maturity date incurs a penalty, and it requires a higher minimum deposit to open.

  • Short- and long-term certificates available
  • Minimum penalty for any early withdrawal is $35.00

Money Market Accounts combine the features of both checking and savings accounts, allowing your business to earn interest on surplus funds while keeping your money easily accessible. Our competitive, tiered money market interest rates are federally insured.

Insured Money Market Account

  • Minimum Deposit of $1,000 ($15 service charge applied if balance falls below this amount)
  • Write up to six (6) checks per calendar month free of charge ($3 charge for additional checks)
  • Unlimited withdrawals if made in person at one of our ATMs, or by direct charge to pay a Chemung Canal loan
