John H. Brand joined Chemung Canal Trust Company in December of 2005, was elected Assistant Treasurer in 2009, Assistant Vice President in 2011 and Vice President in 2012.  Mr. Brand is a Portfolio Manager overseeing various trust, endowment, and investment management accounts.  He previously worked in New York City for Credit Suisse First Boston Direct as an Investment Advisor and for Dealogic, Inc. as an Equity Syndication Analyst.   Mr. Brand is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFPÒ).  He earned his B.A. in Economics from Hamilton College and is a graduate of NYS Bankers Trust Investment School.  He currently serves as a board member of the Arnot Realty Corporation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA).
